I’m not quite sure where to begin with this message…..and I feel like whatever I say won’t begin to do justice to properly express my thoughts and feelings…..
I had a chance to go through and read every message left in the guestbook since the accident, and it’s impossible to express my thanks and gratitude for all of the prayers and support to each of you. Reading the different messages from friends here in Nashville, from friends I haven’t talked to in a long time, from family, and from some people I don’t even know….was quite humbling.
I’ve had the opportunity to meet many amazing people over the years and knew I was blessed to have so many awesome people in my life. Over the past 8+ months I’ve been greatly reminded at just how lucky I am to have such great people in my life. And I will never take that for granted.
All of the messages, phone calls, texts, visits, and prayers were so helpful and inspirational for me. I truly believe the support and prayers from each of you helped with my healing and recovery. For that I’m truly thankful.
So many people put their everyday lives on hold to come and help me ou,t and I want to mention a few…. My awesome family,Craig Lindvahl, the Jolley’s, Kellie Pickler and her whole organization,Tennessee State University music faculty, Nashville musicians and drumming community, Sherrie and all of the amazing people from the “Nashville” TV show, plus numerous others.
I’m a believer that things happen for a reason, and there is always good that comes from the bad in life. And I’m determined to take as much good out of this situation as I can.
