We miss Grant so much, Every second.
Our lives are forever changed,
And continue to change. Unfortunately I had to take two swings at my Nursing Boards, but I am now a month and a half into orientation at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, MN. I am so impressed with my colleagues and the facility. I am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful organization. While Ann was not sure what she wanted to do as far as work, she was afforded the opportunity to apply for the "Attendance Clerk" at Hudson High School. She is really warming up to the job and is excited about the challenges. She works whenever school is in session. Travis left for St. John's University in Collegeville, MN on August 14, where he is playing football and looking to major in Biology/Health Field. (For Now?). We are so excited for him, but we have went from chasing after four boys to only two-- much faster then we had ever dreamed we would. Clayton is a junior in high school, active in football and has been recently elected the president of the 4-H club. He continues to have a very active social life--He keeps us busy with his where-a-bouts. Samuel is in 5th grade at Houlton Elementary and is so excited to finally get to play youth football. Last spring Grant's class hung a stop-light in memory of Grant inside Houlton Elementary. Instead of red and yellow, all the lights are green, and there is a sign next to it which reads, "Remember: The Best Days are Green Days". We are very touched by this tribute and know Grant is very pleased as well. The teachers also painted an area of the wall in the entrance orange and the words "Shine Bright" greet the students every day. Thank you all so much!!! May God bless you with Perfect Trust and may your lives Shine Bright!
