Dear Grace,

You and your family and extended world continue to inspire me.  Starting my own site today with friends reminded me of how I have stayed in touch with all that was good for me during difficult times when living by Green Gulch.

To read about my current chapter and see what I draw from years of being part of the extended Green Gulch Family around the world, you can go here http://www.caringbirdge,org/laviniaweissman while i learn what is ahead for me with new chapter of health challenge.

The gift to me as a DES baby is that I have protected myself from Cancer for may years fueling my sense of belonging to my meditaiton community with Green Gulch and Rabbi Lew.

Blessing to you and all that love you that you love.    My best to everyone I have known since 1996 when I took my first weekend visit and began something so sweet as a ritual to keep me steady in difficulty.

Love,
Lavinia Gene Weissman

Dear wonderful Grace,A little bit of last snow here in Vermont, with spring in the air. The sap is running strong in the maple trees and maple syrup season is upon us. Cedar is waiting to hear from colleges, Silas is playing guitar and Jay is making lots of art. We are all thinking of you, and Sabrina and Fu, and send much love and spring blossoms that are likely bursting forth in that lovely California seaside air.  We so miss you three and love you.Edie, Jay, Cedar and Silas

Hi Miss Grace--

Finally getting around to saying hello. Saw your lovely daughter at Starbucks and I know you saw our son at S's party. He had a good time from what I hear. Missing you all. Summer is fast approaching even though it is still Junuary! Really good for the garden- lucky and glad we don't have tornados! Always look on the bright side- just like you do.
Thank you for keeping in touch. It means a lot to hear your voice and your wisdom.

Love you--Holly B

Dear Grace,

Yesterday, Yeva Johnson, a fellow graduate from SFGH called me at work from out of the blue.  It was a wonderful surprise and I was thrilled to hear from her.  She is now working at Laguna Honda and during the course of the conversation she told me about your accident.  I hadn't heard before then.  I am so grateful that you survived the accident.  I read several of your entries and am again in awe of your spiritual grounding, compassion, and zest for life.  Now, as in the past, you inspire me.

I am reminded of my 40th birthday spent at Green Gulch.  A day I will never forget in part because of the flowers you brought me that morning.  I should say, the flowers and friendship you brought me that morning.  Thank you.

I wish you well me friend and will continue to stay in touch.

Love,

Denise

Dear Grace,

Your recent journal entry is deeply inspiring.  We haven't seen you and Fu in much too long, so I'm writing to send best springtime greetings and wishes, and say how much I admire your keeping active, working at Laguna Honda and the Green Gulch office, and staying a vital part of all those lives you're connected to.  Your spirit and determination are a guiding light for all of us.

Love,

Peter

Dearest Grace.......As ever, your words are so GRACE-full and inspiring.  I am privileged to have access to your thoughts and gentle nudges.  Thank you.  The trick, of course, is to take your hard-earned wisdom to heart and learn to live it...!

I am stunned to realize that it's nearly three years since your accident. On that day, I will remember to stop and give thanks that you, Sabrina and Mack are still with us sharing all that's special in each of you.

With love,
Merrill

Hi Grace,

You spoke my mind...
After almost fifteen years in a "chair" together with other
"issues",  life is good.  Also priviledged  to be present at many births and deaths of people I loved and babies (many now adults)
who I loved on sight.  I celebrate my two "days" each year; May fourth as my day of birth and August fourteenth as my rebirth day.
In gratitude for my life           Sharon Redscooter
