As we remember this day one year ago, we are saddened by the memories that took place. Although it seems like a long time ago it  seems like only yesterday.  The family was together this weekend at Don and Delores's in Amery.  We also went to the accident site today where Glen, Trevor, Collin, Don and Delores all put flowers on the cross that was made by Sue and Russ.

Julie was called away from us much too soon and we  still try to get our arms around the fact that she is really gone. The days will move on, the years will move on and in time we will heal but never forget.  There were other plans for Julie.  We will never forget her and we will carry her memory in our hearts forever. She touched so many in ways that nobody can.

Glen and the boys are doing well. School and sports certainly keep the Nelson family busy.   In talking with Glen the past couple of days, he continues to acknowledge the wonderful support that he has had from friends and family.  He is truly overwhelmed and knows that he could not have gotten through this without every ones help and prayers.

From the entire Nelson and Boumeester Families, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

As we near Christmas we thought that it would be an appropriate time to once again recognize all of the wonderful support that we have had over the past 9 months. Thank you to everyone who delivered food, helped with maintenance around the house, the transportation to and from rehabilitation and Dr. appointments. Others that helped Trevor and Collin to their school activities, and the many other acts of kindness that was shared. Words cannot say enough for all of the wonderful help that was given.

The boys are busy with basketball and homework. Currently they are enjoying a much needed break and hope to do some snowmobiling up at the cabin. I am just completing therapy for both my leg and arm. I will continue to do therapy at home, unless I feel more extensive therapy would be needed at the New Richmond Rehabilitation Center.  I am hoping to get back into a new routine which will allow the boys and I the structure that we have not had for quite some time.

We appreciate all of you that made contributions to this web site. It serves as a wonderful tool for families and friends when these tragedies occur. Not only has it been a source of update over the past 9 months, it has also been a wonderful way for me to hear from all of you. I have read every entry that was posted many times.

Trevor, Collin and I would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I apologize, especially to Glenn, for not entering this earlier.  Glenn has decided that we will not be extending the calendar for the food tidings website.  He appreciates all the meals that have been brought to them over the past several months and is grateful to all who have been a part of this.

    Thank you again.
