Hey Buddy,
Yesterday when I was sitting by the pool with grandma, I saw three little hummingbirds chasing each other around and I knew that you were with your friends up in Heaven celebrating your one year anniversary of meeting Jesus! I hope you got to have one big party with dancing, singing, and lots of ice cream! Still missing you everyday sweet boy!

Thinking of you all on the one year anniversary of George getting his angel wings.  The tributes made at George's funeral will stick with me and the hundreds of others who attended forever.  His spirit and smile will always be remembered.  Sending you warmest thoughts and prayers for a day of peace and remembrance....

Julie - thank you so much for sharing George with me! Your journaling is so heartfelt and honest - I felt like I was traveling the journey with you as I read! George sounds like an amazing kid - I can only imagine how profoundly he touched the people who knew him. What an honor to be his mom! God bless your family as you continue life's journey. He is surely playing with angels on heaven's streets of gold - likely praying for his beloved family/friends who are missing him here. All my best to you, Alyson

Thinking of all of you today.  Jokes were told, Tyler got a laugh out of a couple of the jokes you posted.  We were thinking of you and George when we were out on the lake yesterday.  I can only imagine the celebration he is having in heaven!  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Julie, Ed, Jack, and Elizabeth.  Happy thoughts and prayers are sent your way from our family to yours. The strength and positive attitude you've shown is NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING.  Your latest post (along with all preceding posts), enlightened us, and made us laugh out loud (George's fav jokes).  All of Edina(and many other communities) misses George.  But my what a birthday celebration he's having in God's house! God bless you all.  You're always in our hearts, prayers, and thoughts.  Love, the Deckas family

Ed and Julie - George"s orange ribbon still adorns our mailbox and we think of him daily. You can count on the Newhouse's to sing a few country songs and Jerome is gifting his Star Wars Lego pieces to Edina Give and Go for another group of young people to enjoy - just like George and Jerome did. Saw Jack last Sun a Braemar - such a terrific young man. Hope to see you soon -

Ahhhhh……Dear Ones……What a joy to read about your Precious Boy…… it's like a little visit with him to read about the indelible mark he made on so many. What a legacy he left. And what a testament to you and your family.

I so vividly recall when you were awaiting his arrival……planning…..praying. He was a true darling. Though I never got to know George as well as I wish that I had…..the time I was able to spend with him was truly a gift. We will be certain to celebrate. I'm thinking The Lego Movie…..orange sherbet……..and a bouquet of orange flowers to someone in need of a brighter day. We will be certain to let them know that they are "From George". Much love to you all………..thank you for a beautiful post. Much love to you all……you are in our constant thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lagerstroms,
My favorite color somehow is orange. But something just tells me that when I didn't have a favorite color God knows that I care so much about children that my favorite color must be orange! I know that it still might be hard but you'll always know that he is in your heart and in a better place even though he's not with you today. But ever since my Grandpa died I say to myself that my Grandpa is up there with George.
