Ed and Julie - George"s orange ribbon still adorns our mailbox and we think of him daily. You can count on the Newhouse's to sing a few country songs and Jerome is gifting his Star Wars Lego pieces to Edina Give and Go for another group of young people to enjoy - just like George and Jerome did. Saw Jack last Sun a Braemar - such a terrific young man. Hope to see you soon -

Ahhhhh……Dear Ones……What a joy to read about your Precious Boy…… it's like a little visit with him to read about the indelible mark he made on so many. What a legacy he left. And what a testament to you and your family.

I so vividly recall when you were awaiting his arrival……planning…..praying. He was a true darling. Though I never got to know George as well as I wish that I had…..the time I was able to spend with him was truly a gift. We will be certain to celebrate. I'm thinking The Lego Movie…..orange sherbet……..and a bouquet of orange flowers to someone in need of a brighter day. We will be certain to let them know that they are "From George". Much love to you all………..thank you for a beautiful post. Much love to you all……you are in our constant thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lagerstroms,
My favorite color somehow is orange. But something just tells me that when I didn't have a favorite color God knows that I care so much about children that my favorite color must be orange! I know that it still might be hard but you'll always know that he is in your heart and in a better place even though he's not with you today. But ever since my Grandpa died I say to myself that my Grandpa is up there with George.

Dear Lagerstroms,
i was sitting quietly in a beach in St. John, USVI last evening watching the sunset in its bright orange glory and the photos used in his memori video danced through my mind one by one!  It brought a huge warmth to my heart and smile to my face.  His happiness was so abundant and the way he continues to share it with so many is just so wonderful!  Feel The Force!

Julie-

Thank you so much for your beautiful journal entries! We are grateful that you shared your families journey with us and we are truley blessed and changed because of it.  You will probably never know how your words and your life have impacted us all. Your faith is the real deal- and you will be blessed for sharing it and for showing the World what faith really is.

I loved how you ended tonight's Journal entry!  God has a great master plan and the details of George's last night prove it!

Love you!

Julie, what a beautiful sharing of such special comments and heartfelt messages from George's friends, I so enjoyed reading them ! Today while cleaning and straightening out my special pictures on my refrigerator, I smiled while rearranging George's collage of pictures :)

Hi Julie:

Thank you for sharing these thoughts, and also for all those precious messages from the school friends. It's a sobering statement to see about the eight children you've known who have passed on within 14 months. I can see, however, that you have the will and heart to turn that into good. Peace be with you all.
