We are pleased to announce that we are drawing to a close on this chapter in our lives. Geoff is doing remarkably well at this point. He visited with the eye doctor today and was declared 100% well. The resident was amazed when she looked at him, and the doctor spent less than two minutes and said you are good to go, we will see you in a year or less if you have a relapse. And we walked out happy as can be. Now we can finally agree with Geoff that his vision is fine. He has been saying it for weeks, but we wanted, needed to hear it from the doctor.
Geoff is re-admitted to SLU for next fall. He still does not have a confirmed schedule, but he is working on that with the associate dean of advising.
Geoff is supposed to see the bone doctor one more time and then he visits the rehab doctor again in August and we should be closing the book on this experience.
We would like to thank you all again for your prayers, well wishes and support of various types. God has blessed us through this process and he has used many of you in the process, and so we say thank you to all of you.
Glenn, Ruby and Geoff.
