November 15, 2004- a date that will stick in our memories forever, the date that Gail was diagnosed with Type I diabetes. Never again would life be the same. Our lives have been enriched meeting people we never would have met, experienced things we never would have thought of, and best of all, realized how truly blessed we are to have Gail with us in our lives!

Okay, working and working some more....

Thank goodness after June all of the volunteer work for this season is over, but until then school council, Sparks leader and JDRF Family Committee and Mentor is filling up my plate.

Gail on the other hand is VERY excited that June is almost here- the Walk to Cure Diabetes is coming up in June 1st in Barrie at Heritage Park again this year and she told me that she wants to raise $3000- well, technically she said three thousand hundred....I figured three thousand would be good (lol- at least she didn't say three hundred thousand! NOW THAT would be a dream come true!)

Please take the time to pledge Gail if you possibly can- she knows that all of the money goes towards finding a cure for her disease- a chronic disease that isn't going away unless we raise the money for the researchers (she calls them scientists) to discover this cure- and I believe that Banting and Best made a big step to allow my daughter to STAY ALIVE- now it's up to the next generation to get these kids (and adults) CURED.

Help us raise that money and make a little girls dream of no more ouchies come true!
