Summer Fun Gaige continues to amaze us everyday. His strength is back at FULL SWING and he is enjoying what is left of his summer. Last week he attended Basketball Camp. He had a wonderful time. Mr. Hinson made Gaige feel extra special at the Camp. I think Gaige is finally realizing how serious CANCER is as he continues to PRAY for his friends fighting this cruel disease. Isabella was diagnosed the same week as Gaige. She has just learned that her cancer has returned but this time as a tumor in her brain. Her surgery is tomorrow. Please say an EXTRA prayer for her and her family for a successful surgery and as they begin a new treatment plan. Adam continues to have complications with his treatments. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He is not only fighting Wilms Tumor (Kidney Cancer) but many other infections at this time. When you have a child going through treatments you are with these families more than you are at your own home. I find my heartbreaking as I read the journals, knowing and loving each child. We are heading to the BEACH next week for a vacation. This is a SURPRISE for Gaige. HE LOVES THE BEACH. We have not been sense three weeks before he was diagnosed. My friend Debbie has offered to let us use her beach house. WE ARE SO EXCITED! (Thank you Debbie!) It is hard to believe the summer is almost over. Three weeks left. My baby girl is starting kindergarten. Gaige will be entering the 3rd grade. WOW! Thank you all for your continued prayers. Gaige returns to the clinic next week for blood work.
