Another month and more doctor visits….

So much for a Doctor free June. Andie and I have both had step throat and Gaige is still going rounds with follow-up appointments for his concussion. Andie and I are doing much better. Gaiges doctor visit, well they have become a bit of a joke. We are now being referred to a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Specialist. I received a call yesterday to tell me his appointment is set up for September …. WHAT? So far after his fall we have visited the ER twice, visited a sport medicine Doctor twice and all of whom have given me nothing but a list of what he can not do. I think a list of what he can do would be much shorter. It is summer. He is acting normal. What can a TBI Specialist really do 6 months AFTER a fall? He has had enough down time in the past couple years and now I feel like I am getting the complete run around between doctors. I feel in my heart he is fine. I plan to make him take it easy for the next couple weeks BUT I want him to be able to enjoy his summer. Pray that I am making the right decisions for him. Mothers’ intuition has not let me down yet!

Andies classmate Brandon has been released from the hospital! We hope to visit him sometime this summer when he gets stronger. Thank you for all your prayers! What a MIRACLE!
