Fr. Francis, I am a convert (Southern Baptist), of 15 years to Catholicism.

I came upon The Gospel of John series via youtube and recognized you from an earlier series.  I also (Praise God), came upon your homilies.

After many years and after coming into Mother Church (or this thing of ours, as we say in NY), I am hungry for scripture.  I took an EPS (via Trinity) course at St. Vincent Ferrer in NYC a couple years ago (now defunct, sad to say); Needless to say, I damaged many bibles (once I got those bible tabs), falling asleep on them.  I had amazing teachers (Fr.'s Ray Brown, Turro, others), some... i'm still praying for.

If I never get a chance to study under you in person, I thank God for what you have available.  I pray I find some of your courses, as I cannot afford to go study.  I was asked by Fr. Turro to come to Seton Hall, I guess he saw a spark in this sinful daughter of Our Lord;  I prayed, but my youngest, Xienna, has had sixteen operations and is the primary vocation.  She is called the first child graduate of EPS, since I brought her to every class with me.  I also begged Cardinal Dulles (May God bless his soul), at every Spring and Fall talk at Fordham, to advise how I might take classes there (it's walking distance), I guess I should say tortured him.  I wanted to do Steubenville online, or Holy Apostles, didn't work out.  It gets me down, but if it's worth having, it's worth praying and struggling for.

As I tell others, sometimes God says no or not yet.

When you are better, could you please send me a booklist that I may study along with or some permitted series, audio, video, etc. that may help my journey.

You are a shining example.  I pray for a portion of your spirit.

Please pray for my daughter and myself, as I pray for you. And please pray for my parish St. Nicholas of Tolentine in the Bronx.

Thank you for all you offer up.

God bless, Mary Keep.

Ali.

Father Francis,
John Siple, Mary K's brother saying a big "Hi" to you, with warm, many warm memories of you at Madonna House--preaching, loving, loving!
You heard my confession in a potato field one blessed day.

Since hearing one of Fr. Corapi's teaching video's 5 years ago, I have given up an active gay lifestyle for GOOD!
Somehow I feel like you should hear this from my own mouth, as it is a wondrous account of morality and right.

BTW, for the first time late last night I got to hear & see you teach on EWTN, Gospel of Mark.  I've read Mary Healy's book--every word, and you touched my heart & soul.

I love what you do. Many good years for you!!!

Hey Fr. Francis -- I',m so glad to hear of your are return home today.  You have come such a long way since last August.  I beg the Lord to keep you around much longer.  And I thank him every day.

It was so good to see you at Mass on Dec. 16.  So good, in fact, that I admit I got much too emothional.  Forgive me??

Meghan and children returned home the day before Thanksgiving to celebrate the holidays with us.  Jason will return to Okinawa from Iraq towards the end of January; so, Meghan is starting to check flights back to Okinawa.  She and the children are so excited that Jason will soon belong to them again.  Our visit with Meghan and the children has been such a blessing.

I continue to think about you every day and to pray for your speedy, complete, uneventful and permanent recovery -- but I take nothing for granted.  So that's why I pray daily for you.  I love you so much and look forward to seeing you soon again.
Love, Jean

Dear Fr. Francis,

Know that you are in my prayers on this Epiphany!  I am continually growing in thanksgiving to God for the various ways in which God has used you to impact my priesthood, especially in helping me to encounter afresh the power of the Word of God proclaimed in the liturgy.  It has made an impression on this junior priest!

Horay! for Father Francis!
Home again! What a great milestone! Ahh, home. We with homes so often take them for granted. But how much more do they mean to us, without our even realizing it, when they ARE something we can take for granted? I guess that's a dicodomy we can ponder another time! Liberty is a wonderful thing! Bless you Father, may your health and strength continue to grow by leaps and bounds!! Praise God!
