Good morning, friends. Today is a day my mom would have enjoyed, as it is Ashlyn's 14th birthday. Last week it was Andrea's birthday, and I know she would have enjoyed being there too. Needless to say, we miss my mom, especially on days like today. Dad is bringing over pizza and soda today for dinner, which will be a special treat - we're thankful he is still here with us to be a Grandpa.

Last night we got another update and picture for our adopted son to be officially ours soon. Oh, it is exciting to see his development. This last picture he smiled so big, and we understand he is developing well!

Several of you have asked about my job situation. At this point, I am in the top two for an executive position with the Associated Churches here in Fort Wayne. I am really excited about this possibility, yet I must wait. Meanwhile, I have accepted an interim pastor role at Pandora Missionary Church in Pandora, OH. This Sunday is my first Sunday, so I would appreciate your prayers for His people.

Well, I really must get busy here at TUFW - we have much work to accomplish. Thank you again for your prayers and concern. Again, please remember our friends the Pearsons and the Davis family, as they have both lost a son and a mom recently, and my sister, Mary Ann.

Blessings and love to all,

Michael Mortensen
