Yes, yes, I know, it's been way too long since I have updated on here.
Let's see, Shawn and I recently got married this summer. Our wedding date was July 13 and we celebrated with close friends and family.
Another special event marked our calendar this year as well. We got to meet Jordan's donor, Katy for the very first time. Katy, her two sons and her mother flew to Maine and joined us in celebrating our wedding. It was a pleasure having them all here with us and they fit in just like family. We are thrilled to have met them and are blessed that we have such special people in our lives. We are hoping to plan visits more often in the years to come.
I want to say a special thank you to someone that stops by here almost daily and leaves uplifting passages that I enjoy reading. Lynn, thank you for your dedication in stopping by so often, it does not go unnoticed, I promise!!!
The school year has started off for all the kids and they are all doing excellent. Sports have also started in our house which keeps us busy.
James now has his driver's license and Jordan and Abby are soon to follow when they take their tests next summer. Hard to believe three of them are old enough to drive now.
Jordan is at the 18 month mark post transplant and is doing phenomenal. I couldn't be more happy at her progress and how healthy she is and looks. She had a long fight and she came out on top just like I knew that she would.
Thanks for stopping by to catch up on our household. Take care
