The drunk driver was sentenced on Friday to the maximum under the law. She could be out in four years - hopefully she'll have gotten her act together by then. It was a more difficult day for Eric than I had anticipated. The McQuistin's showed a video of Bawny's life, and there was a large poster of her on display. They gave Eric a memory book of Bawny's life, and he spent quite a bit of time looking at it after we got home. In court, he went before the judge to give his personal testimony and had to stand right next to the defendant. All of this caused him to be angry and sad, but he seems to be more on an even keel today. He ate at the Mongolian Grill, which always makes him happy!
