My Story

Our beautiful daughter Emma Christine Sinford was born December 30th 2002. Emma, our youngest daughter, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was just 3 1/2 months old.

Emma is our wild child with an abundance of energy and love for life. Our hardest job is just letting our girls be normal kids, no holding back, never saying you can't. We are truly blessed!

Yesterday.....................

Emma's favorite phrase right now, as she runs around outside (without a jacket...ugh that girl!) after swimming at grandma's house in the extremely cold pool "Wahoo!...Good Times, Good Times!!!"

Our favorite phrase right now (through momma's clenched chattering teeth because I had to be in the extremely cold pool with both girls for obvious safety reasons) "Good Times, Good Times" (picture heavy sarcasm and big cheesy grin here)

No fevers, diminished cough, full days at school, that is a wonderful definition of a child who (if I have anything to say about it, well at least in my "mommy dictates all things" world) WILL have a back to baseline FEV1 in a couple of weeks.

That is my prayer tonight!
