Well, Emma finally has her IEP done and signed.  Yippe!!! It is finally over and we can stop meeting and fighting.  She will be attending preschool three days a week from 9-12, which is the preschool school day for Metro Schools.  We are hoping to find out how much it would cost to let her stay till 3 but we might not be able to afford it, but we are going to ask and take it from there.  The school she is going to is a great preschool and we are real excited for her to start.  It will be hard on mommy to trust someone else but I will have to do it and let my little bird fly out of the nest for a few hours:)

They did agree to adding an aide to the room.  The aide will be a classroom aide, not suppose to be just for Emma but for the whole room, but mostly they will help with her.  (there are already two teachers in her room)  She will be getting three hours of PT a month, one hour of speech a week, and two thirty minutes of a special needs teacher too.  No OT at this time, she scored to high:)  That is my crooked finger child:)

I will share a cute moment from the other day.  Emma is not a bgi fan of naps right now.  Some days she sleeps and some days she does not!  So, Saturday was a no nap day, but she still has to stay in her bed for a little while, so mommy can rest, and I could hear her just a singing, so I peaked into her room to see what she was doing, and it was so cute.  She was sitting on top of her pillow, singing and playing patty cake with her pink monkey.  She was facing the wall, so she did not see me.  I went to get Daniel and we both watched her playing so sweetly with her animals.  So sweet and to precious!!

I hope all is well in your family.  MY Aunt Linda is coming home this Thursday. Yeah!! She is still in a lot of cast and has a long road ahead, but she gets to come home and be in her surroundings.  She got a new wheelchair ramp built on her house and Emma is looking forward to trying it out for her soon!!!

Love to all
Rachel
