WOW Emma, SO WONDERFUL to hear you found help at our Childrens Hospital (Nationwide, Columbus).  They say it takes one to know one so I can really feel for you.  My daughter has gastroparesis and she is 26.  The only adult motility specialist we can find in Ohio is at Cleveland Clinic. She works over 40 hrs./ week and goes to college full time so can't make the trip there. Since you look older in your picture I was wondering if you've found an adult doctor/motility specialist in Columbus.  I cannot find one locally.  I hate to ask but if you do know one would you mind sharing so I can help her out please? My email is lynnet20022002@gmail.com.   If you decide to rsvp I'd so much appreciate it.  I can't say how much!  It's very hard on parents to need medical help for their children and not be able to help.  Oh and if you don't already know, there is a site for support that you may want to know about.  This is a legimate sites with caring people.  Inspire.com is the site and the group is
AGMD GI Motility Disorders I just got a diet link from there for her but really need a professional to help/oversee her care. If you go there I am Lynne :) You can read how I'm trying to get her a doctor.  We can't afford to travel to the Mayo at this time where she was initially diagnosed.  .  Well take care!    Lynne  p.s. saw you graduated recently CONGRATULATIONS!

Hey Emma!  that's rotten news....soon it will be fixed and you'll be okay again though! I got my pacemaker last Wed and it's so weird for me to have a regular heartbeat- I wish I had done it sooner, but happy that it's now done. You are a beautiful young lady, and you are truly an inspiration to us, and I love you and your spirit for it!

EMMA!!!!!!!!!  So wonderful to hear from you!!!!!  I was thinking of you just yesterday!!:))))))  That night at the Old Log - so fun and so unforgettable:)  You look beautiful as ever, even if you don't feel super right now!  Can't believe it's been so long since you were sending your vlogs from Ohio!  Glad you've had such a long time of feeling well- and I think you'll be getting back to that very soon.

I wish I had advice about which surgery to do -- hope you hear from someone who has experienced this before.  I do know one thing, tho-- and that is that whatever lucky man catches you, he won't care one whit about a scar or a bump or a bellybutton:)  He will adore and cherish the incredible unique person that is YOU!!!!  Any extra special little blips are just hard-earned beauty marks, and he will know how lucky and blessed he is to have found you and captured your heart:)

So go do that Yoga/Walking and get going on your way to vlog-creation-domination:)  Your unlimited talent is needed to beautify our world:)  And keep sending updates:)  I'm holding you in my heart.
May God continue to hold and bless you with great doctors and returning good health.

Love to your mom, lil sis, and YOU!!!
Always yours,
Ellen Hadley
