A storm passed through last night just as we were supposed to leave for tumbling, so we stayed home. However, Remington practiced at home, and he did an awesome job. He has one more class before parents day on May 17, where all the tumbling classes will do a program.
Emily went to school today and had a wonderful day. Soccer was cancelled this evening, because the field was too wet. Hopefully, it will be dry enough for the final games on Saturday.
Remington's cub scout den was also having an overnight camping trip on Friday night, and the camping area is too muddy. So, we are going to go camping in a few weeks.
Emily only has 2 1/2 days left of pre-K. The end of year picnic is Tuesday evening, and the end of year class party is Wednesday morning. We are planning to celebrate Emily's end of treatment on Wednesday morning with her class, as we'll see Dr. Meyer and, hopefully, ring the bell at the clinic on Tuesday.
Remington has a few more days of school after Emily gets out, but most of those are fun days (play day, park day and awards day). Then, he's going to basketball camp for a few days.
My mom plans to spend some weeks here during the summer and take the kids home with her for some weeks this summer.
Emily will celebrate her 5th birthday with a party at Wacker Park at the pavilion on May 30. Then, we'll all be participating in Relay for Life in Pauls Valley on June 6-7. At this time, Emily is planning to shave Jim's head at her birthday party. Her hair has started growing in quite a bit. In fact, the tattoos stick to her hair now instead of her head.
