My Story

Thank you all so much for visiting Emily's page. We appreciate your prayers and support thus far, and ask that you continue to pray for both Emily and the Caldwell family. It is impossible to summarize the life of someone like Emily, but we hope that this gives you a tiny glimpse of the joy and energy that characterizes Emily and her life.

Emily's spirit's are much improved.  She was able to go to the beach over Memorial Day with the singles group from church.  That was her first trip to take (without a family member or Ashleigh) since the wreck.  She had a good time and managed to get a little sun despite all the rain.

Em has started making jewelry.  She is having a lot of fun being creative and naming each necklace after a Bible character or Bible event.  The activity is also great for Emily's fine motor control in her hands.

Her chiropractor has helped her a great deal with her neck rotation and consequently, her headaches are far less.  Her walking, short-term memory, and speed of processing are all improving....but please pray for her continued recovery.

She still sees her personal trainer and swim therapist.  She actually plans to participate in a mini triathalon in September.
