When you ask Emily what her favorite part of her Make A Wish trip was, she says "All of It". Her fairy tale trip started off in a limo ride to the airport. The Give Kids the World village (where we stayed) was a place right out of a child's fairy tale as well. The only rules of the village were that kids must have fun and must eat ice cream for breakfast at least once during their stay there. Special events happened at the village everyday...Disney characters came to see the kids at the village as well as Santa (who brought gifts for all the kids). Emily sang on stage one night during Village Idol and Harrison was selected to judge. It was absolutely a magical place and we feel so blessed to have been a part. We also went to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal Studios, Sea World and Hollywood (MGM) in our 5 day stay. I think some of our favorites were feeding the dolphins at Sea World, watching the fabulous shows at Hollywood (Fantasmic, Beauty and the Beast, The Car Stunt Show). Harrison and Kevin loved riding the upside down, feet-dangling roller coasters. They also enjoyed eating dinner at the Medieval Times while watching knights' joust. Katie liked getting wet on the log rides and hugging all the characters at the parks. We are all so thankful to everyone who helped make this wish for Emily. It was very special for all of us.
