Quick update

It has been a while since I have posted.  Just wanted to let everyone know we are hanging in there.  It is not easy but we are taking it one day at a time and doing the best we can.  We have had to start a new chapter in our life without Emily which is hard to do.   

John, Cody, and I  went on vacation last week.  We went to New York City.  This is where Emily wanted to go but she never got well enough to travel.  We visited a lot of sites around the city and we went to the Today Show.  I had a sign with Emily's picture on it and Meredith signed it for me.  That was pretty special.  It was a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. 

I will probably post for the last time next week.  Until then I hope all is well.
