I can't believe school is here!! For those of you who know me - I hate WINTER so the thought of summer coming to an end once again is very disturbing!!! But we will not go there that soon. Ella and Caden went to the Open House at school on Wednesday night. We were so pleased when we were informed that Caden's Kindergarten teacher was Ella's 1st grade teacher Miss Leach!!! Yeah. There were many depressed parents when we did not see her name on the list of teachers for the year. At the last minute she was called to duty and what do you kno our little boy has the honor of being in her class! He can't wait. He knows Christie so I think that makes starting Kindergarten that more special. Ella also has what I have heard to be a wonderful and dedicated teacher. A perfect match for Ella. Ella is not excited to go back to school, but I think that is just because she does not want to leave mom! She will love it. It is hard to believe that 9 months ago we didn't think she would see the 2nd grade let alone to be doing this well. She is fantastic. Soccer is a little bit of a struggle due to her eye crossing but she does not give up. She will also start dance next week. She can't wait, all she does is listen to the new Miley Cyrus cd(thanks Sammi!) and dance!! No problems doing that! We have a packed weekend but the big excitement is Sunday night Ella, myself and our friends Kimmer, Kiki, Hailey and Teffi are going to the American Idol concert!!! This will be Ella's first concert. She asked if she would get to meet the Idols - David Cook is her favorite, but I had to tell her no just listen to them sing! It should be a great time!! She has already picked out her outfit! On the medical side of things, we ordered Ella a "girl" eye patch. It is pink with silver stars. When we cover her good eye her bad eye goes straight, so she wears it. This was her request, so we obliged. On 9/8 we have an appointment with an eye therapist - to see if maybe they can help??? We also go back to the eye dr on 9/13. No other looming appointments.
