My Story

On June 14, 2006 Elizabeth was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, she completed her treatment successfully on February 20, 2007. August 17, 2007 Elizabeth was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. Elizabeth relapsed February 11, 2008 in her left lung!

As far as I can tell all went well.  We got home around noon, after a VERY LONNNNNG morning.  We had to be at the hospital at 6am, so Elizabeth and I were both up at 4am.  I am so tired!
Her doctor lengthened her arm about an inch, and was going to do more but was afraid that it would make her shoulder area week.  We were told that Elizabeth has enough spring left in her arm for one more lengthening.  He doctor briefly mentioned that he would like to lengthen her arm one more time before the summer is over and then let her go all school year with no surgeries and then she will have to have a BIG surgery to replace the implant in her arm.
Elizabeth is resting now, she is in some pain and her belly is upset. Madison is taking REALLY good care of her.  She has been waiting on Elizabeth hand and foot....it is sooo sweet, normally they are fighting!
