I just looked through all the pictures and can't help thinking back to your wedding day for some reason. And even before all that, God knew that this was going to happen. It would be interesting to hear a short update on little Elijah to see where he is now. Remember, God only gives the hardest battles to His strongest warriors. And if it feels like he isn't there in times of trouble, remember that teachers aren't allowed to talk during tests. ☺

I will keep all of you, especially Elijah, in my prayers for swift healing.  I have been wondering how things have been going for him.  I did talk to Grandma Morris yesterday, so I did find out that he was going to have some surgery.  That will be a LONG summer to keep a young man like him off his feet. I hope all goes well and the summer goes smoothly.  Peace to you, strong little mama!

Good to hear from you folks. I'm praying for an easy time for Elijah and you all. My summer suggestion is to have a small, clean kiddie wading pool. You can put on your kitchen floor. Tape a plastic bag over the cast. Put an apron on Elijah and put him inside the pool.

1) Put in a small tub of soapy water. Wash small toys or cups.

2) Put in a small tub of large macaroni noodles (penne, shells, etc.) or large beans. Put in some small cups, bowls, spoons.

The wading pool can be taken outside or even to a park. Other children will play inside, too.
