My Story

Elesha was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma on 1/10/05, NED on 1/9/06, relapsed on 12/ 27/06. She passed away at home on June 22, ‘07 and entered her heavenly dwelling where she is experiencing the fullness of true worship and filled with a joy eternal. It is our hope that by reading this site you might be encouraged to join us in worship of our almighty God and Prince of peace.

Yesterday, we came two years closer to worshiping with Elesha in the presence of the Almighty. Many of you prayed for us, thank you for remembering. We talked about what we miss, like Elesha's smile and conversations. We miss touching her, kisses and hugs. We don't miss hospitalizations, pokes and nasty medicine that "tastes like dirt!". We don't miss the uncertainty that surrounds you when you're living with a child with a life-threatening illness. We miss seeing Babydoll's blue eyes, but we don't miss the tears in her eyes. We long to see the joy on her face in the presence of her Savior and ours.

Thank you, Father for 5 1/4 sweet years with Elesha Jane.

Amen
