Yeah!!!! Happy Anniversary!!!

Congratulations on the continued "NED" scans and the wonderful MAW in Hawaii! It's great to see Edward continuing to flourish three years later. I know exactly how you feel about 'cherishing normality'. It's a wonderful, boring thing!

We hope the supplements will address the bone density issues as you move forward.  Nedward has already proven he's tough by getting through the chemo treatments, so hopefully the bone density issues will just be one additional hurdle he'll breeze through. (I can't help but think of that line in the Kelly Clarkson song "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.." That's what Melissa and I joked about - it's a "girl thing".)

It is so true what you said about multitude of complications that can crop up after the fact. We've been dealing with some heart issues with Melissa which appear to be getting better. No matter what may come next, they're strong kids who have been through more than most can handle and have won. All we can do is hope that any further  complications can be corrected or managed.

We will definitely sign on the web site you mentioned! In the meantime, keep humming that Kelly Clarkson song...

Such a great post Carol!  Gave me chills!   Edward is quite a special boy!  Such courage, and strength, and a will to overcome!  He is one lucky boy because he also has the most unbelievable, strong, and persevering parents, and siblings that he Edward can also draw from as well as hold him up at difficult times, as well as the good!  You all are AMAZING!

Love ya's!

Does my heart good to read this update. Edward continues to amaze. I surely hope that the bone density problem diminishes. Please let me know if I can help. Sounds like his MAW trip was a success.
