Good Morning to all....I'm sorry it has taken so long to update but things have been kinda busy. Easton's chest tube was pulled Sunday. They put his new port in on Tuesday. The plan is to try and get home on Thursday. We hope that everything stays good so that can happen. His lungs are continuing to improve so we are waiting to see. Yesterday we moved him back to his home vent. He was very worried to begin with but he came to realize that he was going to be OK. We also put him in his chair for the first time in 5 weeks. He did awesome. He sat in his chair for 1 hour and 25 minutes. OH MY..... He did great. We hope we are able to go home tomorrow and he can handle the trip home. He is trying to convince his daddy that he needs to ride in the back with him and let me drive. Brian doesn't like that idea at all. He says that isn't fair because they won't give him his medication of choice before we leave. Easton just rolled his eyes.
