Dylan Moore's Journal
Written Dec 8, 2013 3:28pmHey Cowboy,
First of all, let me say "my bad". That's what the kids say now when they mess up. When I told you how much we made at Dylan Days, I left out a zero!! Didn't even realize it until Betty Jeanne told me. We made $12,000.00!! Yes thousand, not hundred!! Couldn't have done it without all of the help from all of our sponsors and volunteers!!!!
Been making Christmas goodies this week. Skyler and Cody have helped a little. I sure miss you helping. You loved to cook for Christmas!!
Last night at school they lit illuminaries in memory and honor of loved ones. You had several. There are still so many people that love and miss you!!!
Tonight, we will hold the Remember the Children ceremony at Shiloh. This time of year is especially hard for anyone that has lost loved ones. I pray for peace for each one. Special prayer for Holly. She is missing her mom so much right now.
Night Cowboy!! Love and miss you terribly,
Written Dec 5, 2013 10:09pmHey Cowboy, Cody and I went to Redphish tonight. That's his favorite store you know. He was playing around with one of the guitars and this little boy came in looking for a guitar. He looked about your age when you got your first REAL guitar. As I sat and watched the sales guy try to find the right one, I couldn't help but think of you. He reminded me so much of you. My mind drifted back to the night that we went to the shop that Steve sent us to. The guy met us after hours so no one else would be in the store in an effort to avoid germs. You were so excited to get that guitar. Even if it wasn't blue. I am so thankful that Steve came into our lives. Not only was he a great guitar teacher, he became a great friend. We were very blessed to make so many new friends while we were there. Wanted to let you know that we raised $1200.00 dollars at Dylan Days this year!!!!
Written Nov 29, 2013 12:59amHappy Thanksgiving Cowboy!! We all missed you today. One more Thanksgiving without you. The one thing I am most thankful for are my children!!! I am so thankful that God shared you with us for 7 3/4 years. Cody and Skyler are growing up so fast! Skyler found a saddle she wants. I told her that she doesn't need another saddle. Her comment was, "I want the saddle with the praying cowboy. That way Dylan will be riding right there with me every step of the way"! Give everyone up there a Thanksgiving hug for me!! Night Cowboy! Live you and miss you. Love, Mama
