Duke’s Story

On June 2, 2019, Duke experienced the first persistent symptoms of what turned out to be an aggressive, metastasized colon cancer. By they time we figured out what was going on, it was simply too late. On July 14, 2019, Duke died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. This is the story of his cancer, his death, and his memorials.
