Welcome to Drew's CaringBridge site.

On April 22, 2004, at 4 years old, Drew was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor. The pathology determined the tumor to be a Glioblastoma Multiforme, a very agressive, adult tumor.

Drew's full story is the introduction to our CaringBridge site.

Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.

We hope everyone had an AWESOME Halloween. We had a wonderful time. the boys were able to go Trick-or-Treating and to our church's Fall Festival. Oma, my mother, was able to join us and the festivities. We are so thankful and feeling very blessed since, yesterday was the one year anniversary since Drew had craniotomy surgery for recurrence.

Last year on Halloween morning Drew walked into the hospital at 6:00 AM in full Red Power Ranger costume, greeting everyone he saw. One would never have known he was there to have brain surgery. The surgery went well and we were back home in 42 hours.

Now, 1 year later, Drew is doing well. He is going to school full time, playing soccer and being a "normal" 8 year old. He continues with chemo as treatment and handles it well. He is a very strong, brave boy. I am proud and honored to be his mother.

Please keep Drew and so many children affected by cancer in your prayers. There have been too many children ravished by this disease. Please help us find a cure. Please Visit: http://curechildhoodcancer.ning.com

Thank you for all of your prayers, love, and support.

Love,

The Goodman Family
