Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about our loved one.
Douglas was diagnoised in June 2006 with neuroblastoma. He had been in remission from March 2007 till last week when we found out the cancer is back.
Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.

I haven't seen Douglas since Saturday. He was tired and went to sleep then. I just talked to his mom and she said he went in Monday for blood and platelets and Lynette is coming in the morning to take blood to see if he needs anything more. She is hoping he will be good till Friday so he will make it through the weekend ok. Sheryl says that Douglas is feeling a little better than he has been. His teeth are bothering him a lot. She thinks he had an infection in one of them when he was in the hospital, but he hasn't been able to go to a dentist. She is suppose to ask if it is possible for Douglas to go see a dentist now. At least to be able to find out what is going on. He is trying to eat a little. She said he is on a spaghetti kick, but it can't be spicy. She got some from Farmer Brown's and he liked it. He still has the feeding tube in and the nutrition has been increased. She thinks it is helping. Sheryl tells me that Douglas is wanting me to take him in to the clinic, I'm guessing he is wanting to go shopping for something!! She said he doesn't remember celebrating his birthday so we will probably have cake for him some night. She showed him all his balloons and cards he got but he just doesn't remember. Probably just as well, he was pretty bad at that time. Again, thanks for all of your prayers.
