Journal entry by Carla Jackson

It's been a little over 6 months since Carla's liver transplant. Thankfully she is now drain and stent free. All who know her understand this means she is FREE. She can drive and is able to take care of all the small errands she wasn't allowed to handle on her own over the past 6 months. She is very grateful to all her friends and family who supported her in this journey, taking her to Dr appointments, delivering food, grocery shopping and other incidentals. She still tires easily, but she's happy to have control over her life.

While recovering from her blessing, one thing she did move forward with was the non-profit she began in 2018. The Be Not Afraid, LLC official website is www.donateliveliver.com.  Currently, the marketing campaign is for raising funds for the liver database. This is needed to collect names of liver donors; donors needed to help save lives.

The day after Carla's transplant, Be Not Afraid, LLC had its first donor. Cathie Seibert, (Carla's donor), husband, Jeff Seibert.  He visited Carla and expressed his interest in being a donor. So now the campaign begins.  Please share with everyone you know the URL.  The database is needed to help save lives, and educate the public on live liver donation.

Thank you for all your prayers and well withes.
