My Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated on Dillon's progress.

Dillon was diagnosed in January 2006 with a stage III anaplastic wilms tumor - a rare "unfavorable histology" childhood kidney cancer.

Dillon's last chemotherapy treatment was on July 12th, 2006

Scans on 2/9/09 were clear!

Dillon is officially 2 1/2 years cancer free!!

Just a quick update for those of you that still follow along with Dillon's progress here:

Scans were done once again on Monday and Dillon received another clean (NED) report! This was the first 6 moth gap in between visits to his oncologist. He'll probably have 2 or 3 more at 6 month intervals and then we'll move on to yearly exams. Hard to believe we've made it this far!

We continue to give God all the glory for the miracle He's worked in Dillon's life!

2 1/2 years clean. 2 1/2 years to go until he's considered "cured". We're officially half way there...
