Amen Dana! I have so many people helping me with my cancer journey, providing rides, meals, support, prayers, you name it and no one will take a thing from me! I figure I am going to make it through this and live a long life, so I can spend the time paying it forward! What would we do without each other?!

Bruce Clendennen, that was a pretty amazing article. Dana, I am so moved and excited by your reports of Devon's new responses. We will continue to pray for him unceasingly. I am in awe how Devon's situation and your dedication to this blog has brought many of us to a closer walk with Jesus. I can't wait to celebrate Gods next surprise awaiting Devon.

Thank you Dana! Your response is helpful as always! I am having chemo today, and so will probably be pretty out of it the rest of the week. Here is my home phone number, but if I don't answer, I'm probably napping, (507) 794-3499. Thank you so much for your support! Please tell Devon I think of him often, and am so proud of him and really pulling for him and you all!

Hi Dana,

The cancer treatment is going well, not a lot of fun of course, but it's ok. I have a question/problem that I thought you, Pastor Shaun or Tom Randall or some of your readers might be able to help with. I had sent an e mail with an update to some people and had asked them to include the medical researchers and my medical staff in their prayers. Then another friend of one of the recipients also asked on her CaringBridge site for prayers for her. This friend of mine said today that they don't think God works that way. Another friend had died of cancer and this person said, "so since my friend died, God didn't like her as much? Or she didn't pray hard enough?" Well, I had no idea what to say!! How does one respond to that? I felt awful because I felt like this person is missing the point. But I didn't know how to say it without starting an argument. Saying what's meant to be will be or we don't know God's plan didn't seem like it would help any. Any advice from anyone? Thank you!

My heart is broken this morning as well Dana. I have always cared for Brad's mom--Linda is a neat lady that I enjoyed many talks with over many years. PK---well he is one of the most generous friends I have ever known.  I am glad I got to see him and talk with him at the RIGA meeting in December....I hurt for both of these individuals and will pray for both of them ....

"It isn't even snowing yet"!  "Then why is T.J. plowing the driveway"!  I LOVE THAT LINE!!!

Ok, I love you Charlotte but it started snowing yesterday morning!!  (I can say that and not get in trouble because I know she never reads the posts)!

I'm telling you, not only do I get fed spiritually from your journals, I get such a chuckle when talking about Charlotte because I know her so well.  She is such a pistol and Dana you could be a stand up comedian!

Thanks for the laugh, now I have to go and tackle the 2 ft. of snow that IS out in my driveway!

Love,
Brenda

Excellent Post!  We have the same testimony minus my trials not being as tragic as your sons accident.  My life couldn't be better now that at 53 I have decided to surrender ALL to Jesus and do it HIS way!  I have never been so in love with the Lord or so content even though life, (the devil), keeps throwing me blows.  I love my new life, telling him to get behind me and not reacting the way I used to.  God knows what he is doing!  He gives everything in his timing.

Love to all,
Brenda

Good morning everyone, Dana I love that sentence……...Jesus paid a debt he didn't owe, because we have a debt we couldn't pay!  Amen!

I am so sorry Charlotte and Devon are leaving Florida on behalf of all the Floridians, (lol), but I sure am happy for all us "Little Rhody" family and friends!  I can't wait to go visit and play catch up with Charlotte!  I have really missed them both!

Love to all,
Brenda
