Great words Dana!  My Pastor quoted a scripture last Sunday and I immediately thought of Dev!
Philippians 1:12 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.  (The heading to this chapter in my bible is "Paul's Chains Advance the Gospel).

I believe Devon's "chains" are DEFINITELY advancing the Gospel!  Praise God he has chosen you Dev to be such a great vessel into furthering his kingdom!

Love to all,
Brenda

Great post Dana!  I had chills reading it!  As famous and important as these people are to others it seems they haven't let that destroy their ability to love and put others first.  It must have been so great for Devon!  What an encouragement!

I definitely had a laugh at Charlotte saying………lets go for a visit, (like thats nothing)!  lol  But thats Charlotte!  She doesn't think anything of dropping whatever she's doing for WHOEVER wants or needs her!  Thats the way it should be.  We're all humans, no one is above another no matter how society views us.

What a great couple!  Thanks to them for opening their home!

I can't wait until Charlotte and Dev come home!  I miss them!

Good morning Quigley family, after reading last nights journal I am feeling led to share.  A couple of weeks ago I wrote of joining others in a 365 day challenge on behalf of Dev and that I would let you know what it was when I knew I was committed!  Here it is………

I went and bought a small calendar maybe 6x6, (wish I new how to copy and paste, I'd send you a pic).  I put it on my nightstand next to my bed.  My challenge is to not get into bed unless I have prayed for Dev!!!  Every box has a big X showing me I prayed that day.  Over the past 4 plus years I have prayed for Dev many a times but I can't honestly say every day!

My challenge is to pray EVERY day for 1 solid year for Dev's healing, both physical and emotional, strength, grace, mercy, love, endurance, peace and whatever else the Holy Spirit leads me to pray for.

I am telling you this NOT to boast but to let you know what Devon's experience/accident has done for me.  As I pray every day/night for Dev it leads me to pray for others and has given me a better prayer life!

Thanks Dev!  Love you!

Happy New Year! I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I wanted to pass along a story. A friend of mine said to me the other day, "what is going on here? In the last two years, your husband died, you broke your leg and then you found out you had cancer and have been dealing with that for over a year. Yet you are always as happy and content as a little pig in the mud. How is that possible??" I smiled a big smile and said "Jesus!" I just feel happy and confident that Jesus takes care of it all. A lot of that I have learned from the Quigley's and the Prayer Warriors here. It's just awesome!

On a really happy note, while I will still have some reconstruction surgery in March and tests and follow ups for a few years, as of tomorrow I am done with the treatment phase!! And I am celebrating in a few weeks by going to watch the Champions Tour at Hua'lalai!! Lord willing, I am going to relax, enjoy life, be thankful and grateful and probably burst into tears on the beach! (Especially since the forecast for here in Minnesota that week is a high of about 5 below zero ;-)

Love and prayers to you all and best wishes for a wonderful 2016!

Dear Quigley Family,
Thank you for all your posts over the past four-plus years. Your words have inspired so many of us when we have gone through difficult times in our own lives. Allowing us to learn from Devon and all of you has been an important part of life for us, and we truly appreciate it.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas, followed by an amazing year in 2016. God Bless you all.....

Dear Quigley family,

I just want to wish you the most Merry Christmas ever. I cannot thank you, and Jesus, enough for all you have done for me and so many others these past few years. You have helped teach me how to pray and how to be filled with joy even through the worst of times. Peace of mind and happiness are the best Christmas gifts I have ever received. Each night I pray for Devon's miracle and I feel so confidant that it is coming soon. When it is meant to be, it is going to be so awesome and amazing! I just wanted you to know that because of Devon and the rest of you, there have been many other miracles and so much beautiful joy. Here's to a wonderful 2016. God Bless you all!
