What a beautiful message tonight, and again perfect timing! I had more surgery today and had handed it over to Jesus. My blood pressure was 104/68 and the Dr said, you are obviously not worried about this surgery! I said, nope, no reason to be! The surgery went great and hopefully we are on to the next step soon! My only regret is I probably won't be working at the 3M tournament in three weeks, but I figure God has something better for me in store for that weekend this year?! It must be great because there are few things better than the 3M ;-). Thanks again for all you do for all of us Devo's prayer warriors, God definitely is using you to help me!!!!

Good morning,

Funny, when I looked at the pic of Devon and Nicole at the game, I instantly thought to myself….."wow, Dev looks so concentrated!  He looks so focused, watching the game"!  Then I read your post where Charlotte and Nicole both confirmed to you what I thought just looking at the pic!

Isn't it amazing that the Lord is giving us all the same insight!  Is the Lord confirming to each one of us that love and pray for him that he is doing his supernatural work in Dev?!

The change in Dev from 3 1/2 years ago is nothing short of REMARKABLE but in the last year, (seeing Dev at least once a month) the changes have been subtle and also supernatural.  (At least to me).

I tell Charlotte whenever we get together that his countenance is so beautiful!

I truly hope and pray that this will be his year of great healing!!!

My love and prayers,
Brenda

Hi Dana, love your message tonight! I am still fighting the cancer battle, made it through chemotherapy and surgery (pathology results are all now negative!!) and am waiting for radiation. That has been postponed indefinitely because of an incision that won't heal and I am making a two hour each way drive to see a surgeon at least once a week while he tries to figure out what's going on and fix it. The surgeon has been wonderful and i'm not upset or even concerned (Thanks in part to your posts) because i know it's part of God's plan and it's a good plan! I handed it over to Jesus a while ago and it is amazing what a peaceful feeling that is. I can't explain it, but I'm sure you know what I mean. This is Devon's year, and I am so looking forward to his miracle!

Good morning again!  lol  I've been making a point to get back into the Quigley loop/caringbridge.

I want to tell you about another dream I had last night.  Without going into the whole scenario, Devon was COMPLETELY healed and walking around his house!  I was in such shock and amazement!  It was as real a dream than I've ever had!!!

I don't know why over the past 3 1/2 years I have randomly had these dreams but I hope and pray they will come to fruition!

Love,
Brenda

Good morning!  What a beautiful day here in little Rhody!  Charlotte and Dev popped over last night and we had a great visit out in my back yard.  Every time I see Dev his countenance gets better and better.  As he was having a bit of coughing and I was placing Dev's feet back on the chair I started praying for healing "head to toe" and told Charlotte, "if the Lord would just at least heal his secretions"!  She came right back without even a breath saying "it's coming, right Dev"?!

Your journal last night was right on!  She and Nicole never falter!  They never lose sight of God's promises and being positive when it comes to Dev!  I, as I'm sure all of you am so thankful to the Lord that Dev can communicate with eyes up for yes, down for no!  Charlotte now trusts me enough to run to the bathroom and let me stay alone for the 30 seconds she's gone and it is so nice to have talks alone with Dev.  He is such a wonderful young man!  I love his answers to some of my questions especially when it comes to Charlotte and she thinks he will definitely say yes and he says no and we all laugh!  Oh, he's fully in there!  Great boy you have both raised!

Can't wait until the party in August and we get to celebrate not only another birthday for Dev but to celebrate this extraordinary journey of healing!

Love to all,
Brenda

Boy Dana, truer words have never been spoken. We do "trash" things, people, moments. The evil one plays on our minds more than we would hope. We have to put on our armor.

"Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil." (Ephesians 6:11 NLT)

Not always easy but something we strive for daily.

Love you all,

My favorite Bible verse is:

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. (Philippians 4:6 NLT)

Regarding Devon coughing, I am not a doctor but I am a certified health coach. Chances are the allergens are at a full time high this spring everywhere. It could affect Devon one day but not another, just like it does here in south Florida.

Praying that the next days ahead it lightens up for Devon.

Love to all,

Dear Dana,

Your messages are never "all the same." I am always amazed and grateful how every day your message speaks of what I seem to be going through. As your friends posted, we wouldn't be here every day if it was boring or wasn't new. Your messages are always inspirational and encouraging!

Dana, your writings never get old or repetitive. I read what you write daily, it is my ritual just as I read the devotionals from Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Beth Moore, etc. Only you aren't getting paid cash dollars for your writings! Oh yes, the Holy Spirit is writing for you so I bet you are getting paid more than money for inspiring all of us. Your reward will be waiting for you in eternity! If you aren't tired of writing, we surely are not tired of reading!

Until tomorrow...

Dana first of all, you got Pastor Todd's message down to a "Tee!" Second of all, Todd did say that those of us who are followers of Christ-Christians-are in transformation. None of us are perfect. We all have shortcomings. But those who repent and do their very best to not sin like that again are indeed walking their talk. It takes time and lots of prayers to Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit to keep the evil one at bay. Look at all you have taught me! And might I add, what you have taught Bobby. We were talking tonight about how Saul became Paul and Bobby told me the whole story! Do you know that only a few years ago, Bobby didn't know who Paul or Saul was! I'd say that is a miracle! I am always saddened that our faith was born out of Devon's injury. But always grateful that you shared with all of us to bring awareness so that we could learn!

God Bless all of the Quigley's!

I hear you on the worrying, Dana. It's far worse because you are so far away. But what you wrote from Joyce Meyer is my go to when I begin to worry. And then I say this prayer:

My heavenly Father, thank You for caring for me and for assuring me that You will provide for every need I have. Too often, I’ve allowed worry to creep in and steal my joy or my peace. Because of worries over little things, sometimes I’ve been unable to focus on the greater things in this life You do for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, free me from the things that bind me so I can be totally free to worship and serve You. Amen.

And this verse:

"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." (Philippians 4:6 NLT)

It does give me peace. Hope it does for you too!
