Destiny is home and doing much better. She still has iv antibiotics she will have at home until Friday. She also has a feeding tube.....she has lost a few pounds, but her pre - albumin (nutrition level) was a 3 on Thursday (should be at least 14). Both of her drs said that is the lowest they had ever seen. Pretty scary!! She will be out of school the rest of the week so she can get rid of the phneumonia completely and hopefully get back to her old self.

The ct scan showed that the spots on her kidney is decreasing, so this means it is not much of a concern anymore (unless it starts increasing in size). The spot in her right lung from the first scan is also decreasing. The left lung is where she has phneumonia this time and the xray from yesterday shows the area significantly smaller.

From Thursday ~ Well Destiny had clinic today. Her white blood counts are high, she might have pheumonia again and she has sinuitis (sp??). She will be admitted in the morning, since we didn't get the message until this evening from the dr. She also had her ct scan today. She had one about 3 weeks ago and it showed spots on her lungs and also spots on her kidneys. We dont know the results of todays scan yet. If the spots are still there, Destiny will have to have biopsies done on them. So please keep Destiny in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank You, Carla [♥]
