Derek went back to the Ortho Doctor at HCMC and they thought the MRI looked pretty good. They said that the calcification in his shoulder is not the cause of any pain. They thought the pain could be more related to an inflamation or just the way the shoulder healed. For now they have given derek another antinflamitory shot in his shoulder. We are hoping that this will bring some relief. If not, the doctors still say it is possible to reanchor a tendon in his shoulder. However, that will be our last choice. We feel relieved that there is nothing major wrong in his shoulder. We are just hoping that something will bring a little relief soon.
