Derek and his daughter Lucie were involved in an automobile accident on March 28, 2008.They were rear-ended while stopped to exit 494 onto 169 in Eden Prairie, causing a 6 car accident. Derek and Lucie were the only 2 seriously injured in this accident. They were both diagnosed with head injuries at the time of the accident.

Derek had his MRI today but we haven't heard any results yet. He said yesterday's pool therapy was really tiring! He seemed very sore this morning. This will be his last week of speech therapy but he will continue OT and PT. We hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!
