Hey Derek and family,

Glad to hear that you are up and out of the wheelchair!  That must be an unbelievable feeling.

We will be up at camp over Memorial Day with a few guys.  Wayne has many projects for us as usual.  You know him, it's like his little fort - always tinkering with something!  Maybe we will see some of you then - that would be great!

Well, just know you are all in our paryers.

I am so glad to hear your good news, Derek, and happy for you and your family.  When you are going through healing from medical procedures and injuries, it seems that the healing is an eternity. You have made temendous gains and are healing so well and so fast.  You are definitely on the home stretch.  Good for you!!!!

Hi Derek, What a WONDERFUL sister you have...:):):). I bet the concert was GREAT. We are so glad you were feeling well enough to attend and enjoy yourself. I'm sure it was nice to get out and do something normal and fun...not just medical stuff. You needed that break! WOW...big step getting the external fixator off....YEA!!!! That is huge progress.  I know you are soooo HAPPY. Now the physical work begins and I'm sure you are ready to start it and on your way to getting rid of the wheelchair. Just a little longer and your internal mouth devices will be off and you can start eating more normal food, not just the liquid. Hang in there, the time will pass. Just keep reminding yourself  it is for the good of your jaw. It will help in the long run.  We thought of you on your birthday last weekend and I then  forgot to write. Brigette was home for 4 days. She needed to see the family. We were thinking back to a birthday you had one year when we were all in Mexico.  OMG....I don't think I'd want to relive that again ...HA!HA! Enjoy your weekend. Hello to Kristie and Mara and whoever else is with you this weekend. So Glad you are healing and making physical progress.Love Lori, Mike and Always JillXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Glad the towel bar is gone.Although I;m sure it would have come in handy at times. Great spot for a couple of can coolers, place Mara can hang her school art, teaching Mara to ice skate, her own private chin up bar, TP holder,gun/ fish pole rest , chicken rotiserie, Christmas lighting, dinner tray, place Indians can dry there fish,   or the endless sexual positions  Christy would have you in. Sooooo ........can I have your old one?
Glad your doing betterKevin
