Hello! Sorry for the delay... the Taxol Neulasta combination kicked my you know what last weekend. On Sunday I also noticed some neuropothy in 6 fingertips. The pain managed me more than I managed it. Went on the website for young survivors and asked for some advice from girls who'd been there and done that... Came up with a whole list of options. Saw NP at the Onc's and said that we needed a different game plan, getting well shouldn't be this hard. . . NEW GAME PLAN! Begining July 16 I'll get weekly Taxol for 9 weeks. By having weekly infusions it's less medicine every week instead of 3weeks medicine at once. This should also help with the neuropathy effects, and also less pain. Even better NO NEULASTA!!! My new last day of chemo will be Sept 10. I also got a new Rx for pain as I had some difficulties with my last drug. Erin and Lindsey have been at Andrews UMC Vacation Bible School this week. They went to Oneida shores yesterday and had a great time. (gotta go pick them up in 10 min) Wishing you all a happy 4 of July! Have a great weekend! xo, neecie
