Hello,

I haven't updated my page in ages because once I left Chicago I felt "cured." I am doing phenomenally!!! I will be returning to work in a few weeks. I will also start school at the U of M after Labor Day.

I still deal with some things, but feel mostly better than pre-transplant. My skin is as soft as a baby's butt. :) I think my lungs are better, but my next set of PFT's will give concrete data to support that theory.

The transplant did not cure my reflux or stomach issues, though they are much better. It did not cure my thyroid issues or fibromyalgia. I knew most of that going into the transplant.

I haven't suffered from any infections(knock on wood). I have spent time this summer trying to gain energy and strength back. I have also had wonderful opportunities to get back in touch with people.
