Next Steps! Again

Deb was fitted for her radiation mask today and will have her first (of 13) treatments tomorrow at 8:30am. I had hoped to be there, but will be touring three new rehab places in the Boston area so we get her to a place to get her reconditioned. The plan is to move Deb sometime this week to rehab with her returning each day to "The Brigham" for radiation. Since she is so de-conditioned we will require transport each day back and forth for radiation treatments. In addition, the plan is to get her back to Dana Farber in the next week for a bone marrow biopsy. There are many things that must fall into place and have good results in order for Dana Farber to proceed with the transplant. Please continue to pray that everything falls into place. It's been a long road (so far 3 months), if all works out with radiation and bone marrow biopsy results we may be near the half way point. Deb said she wants to be sure she tried all options available to ensure remission and a future. We're on our way back to good health and back home to Pawleys. Keep sending us prayers here in Boston. When you say a prayer tonight for Deb, please include the folks here in Boston.
