Today---She's still out there somewhere mentally as she continues to say alot of off the wall things, however, the pieces are being put into place to transfer to a rehab unit. The doctors are happy with the results and from a physical stand point the brain work is much better. I'm hoping to hear that the transfer goes thru tommorrow and I have asked for it be at Hancock County so it is centrally located between my restaurant and her sister Toni.

Toni has been a godsend to me during this entire ordeal if it wasn't for her I'd probably be in a nuthouse by now.

Hi I am Dee's sister she is doing much better and we are glad that she has done as well as she has to this point as Brad has said it is a very slow recovery and she will need alot of help when she comes home. I would appreciate any help to the family and my sister that anyone would give. Again thanks so much for all the prayers and concerns it means so much to me and her family. Dee's sis Toni

I haven't quite figured out this site to add to the journal so I will update the guestbook. Dee was transferred today out of neurological intensive care into recovery. She is still a little confused but they tell me this is their version of normal. Last week she was cooking at the track and today she asked me if there was a mule in the basement???? If you know her you know how strong she is and hopefully all will be back to normal very soon. With love, Brad
