Dear Jesus, Thank you for taking dad home tonight..He fought the long hard battle and made us all proud.  We know he is with you now.  In your name we pray, Amen.

Tonight at 8:07, dad passed away.  The staff down here in Rochester is the most loving and amazing people we have ever met.  We will miss all of you!!

We thank everbody for your prayers, thoughts and concerns over the years.

All of us kids, Pastor Steve and Diane, our spouses, numerous nurses and grandkids were by Dads side when he passed on.  An amazing thing happened tonight..at the exact minute dad died, Pastor John was trying to call mom on her cell phone.  It was like John knew that was going home.

We will update the sight when we figure out the arrangements...

Once again, THANK YOU to everyone for helping us through this time in our life.

It is so difficult to watch death creep in on the one we love so dearly, yet we realize this earth no longer is the place for him. The team here on MB 6 cry tears along with us. The nurses tenderly care for Dave and as we thank them their response is always "our pleasure, we love him too"

Dave wanted to return home, to go to church one more time,( grand-daughter Kaisa was baptised in his hosp. room) to pet the dog and rest in his own bed but these things will not happen.

Life is so fragile and so sweet. It matters not what we have but who we have and I am so thankful for the life I spent with Dave and the family we were given.   As Always , Arlyce
