My Story

After a year of therapy to help him regain his ability to communicate more easily, David continues to make strides toward speaking more easily.  While he's not yet able to converse as he once did, David definitely follows conversations better and is doing better with short term memory and in general ways.  His faith remains strong, as does his trust.

Last week, David sang along with his first album a little. He wasn't able to get all the words out but I could tell he could "hear" the song and the lyrics in his head as the songs played.
My favorites on that 1995 album are "Almighty God" and "He's All You Need."  He's also been creating some great artwork of late.

After a year of therapy to help him regain his ability to communicate more easily, David continues to make strides toward speaking more easily.  While he's not yet able to converse as he once did, David definitely follows conversations better and is doing better with short term memory and in general ways.   There is no question that David is coming back to us little by little. Some days are harder than others but that's where his incredible faith and trust help so much.  Your prayers for a full recovery mean so much to us. Thank you for following these updates and God Bless you.
