My Story

On Mon, June 16, 2008 Dave was having severe muscle spasms in his back & went to the ER. The ER staff uncovered he had lesions on his spine, which after biopsy the following day turned out to be a rare blood cancer known as Multiple Myeloma.  It represents only 1% of all cancers.

Dave had his at home doc check up yesterday.  All is going well and we are simply continuing.

Jude & I made great headway yesterday, talking with contractors and tradesman regarding her place and getting prices and so on. Steven (her brother) took us out to dinner and gave me a beautiful tour of his substantial Michael Parks art collection.  Just beautiful. We are just cranking along and with Jude's jet lag, she was exhausted, but also excited about the progress.  Its a great place with excellent "bones" and I can't wait to spend next 4th of July here for the BIG PARADE!  I'm sorry I'm going to miss it this year!

Having not spent anytime in S Cali, I must admit, I can see the draw on these coastal towns.  It is really lovely.
