This past week has been busy. Highlites were when we finally got to the Fri steak dinner (David had two?) both the bus and the van that carried them broke down. That is the chair lift broke down. One in the up position and the other in the down position. Two guys were stuck IN the vans with no lift to get them out.Luckily David was having a cigar with one on the ladies and was grounded.

Over 40 wounded warriors and some family members were sent back in taxicabs. The cigar lady and I put David and Paul in her van and we loaded their chairs in the back. Davids new chair is HEAVY.

His mother may read this so I wont go into if we made a stop or not, but lets just say that David met a DC Policeman (THE ROCK) and may have a "get out of jail card" heh heh.

So many adjustments were made to his prosthesis that they finally made him a new one and it seems to fit ok.

We viewed the xrays of his finger ( he still has 5 frags that show up on xray) and it looks like they have to do some fussion or install a rod - hes still trying to decide the best option. The second bone on his index finger separated from the first and wore the bone down. They gave him awrap around brace to keep it from moving too much.

He made SIX laps on the bars - without holding on. He's on his way. Balance issues are still being worked on and further surgery on his left leg is on hold for now. They are monitoring the bone growth.

David actually wrote two letters last night - I'm mailing them today.

We will be working to get David in the clases he needs to go to work at the Pentagon on his OJT. He need to get busy. All the things going on and he gets bored???

As usual, he appreciates and thanks you for all your support.

Glen
