David's story began in the fall of 2012, when he started experiencing pain in his right leg. After months of testing and treatments, an MRI showed that there was a tumor in David's right femur. David had surgery on March 8, 2013 to replace the diseased bone and hip, which was successful. However, during recovery from the surgery, David had a massive stroke. Currently, David is being treated for the stroke at Albany Medical Center. At this moment, he is not a candidate for cancer treatment, so his future is uncertain. We, his family, will use this site to keep family and friends updated on his condition. We appreciate all of the love and support that has been given to us thus far.
It is with a heavy heart that I write to all of you to inform of David's passing. He passed around 4:15pm today. While we are of course grieving for our loss, we are happy that he is no longer in pain. We are working on getting all of the information for services, and we will let everyone know as soon as there is information. Thank you for all of your love and support.
