Discharged early

My progress was so strong, Mass General discharged me today. Since Boston is getting hit with a storm that could be reasonably big, we decided to stay at my brother's condo less than a mile from the hospital for a few days. We'd already heard that one of the two routes north out of the city was backed up and driving in bad conditions didn't make sense. Getting into even a minor accident could be dangerous at this point.

Thanks again to all of you for your support.

I've got a long way to go to get back my energy levels. I fell asleep during the US-Russia overtime and didn't wake up for an hour and a half, then when we got to the condo, I sat on the couch and fell asleep for another two hours.  But all things considered, I couldn't be happier.

Wow... if YOU could fall asleep during THAT game, you surely need a lot of resting and recharging. Thanks for sharing the great recovery news, keep it up. Don't set unrealistic expectations though... let your body work through the healing and recovery process. You have been through a lot. Praying for you.
