Dear Steve and Christy:  Indeed this has been an amazing journey of courage and grace.  Thank you for the privilege of sharing in this journey, of keeping track of David and praying for ya'll.  We rejoice for this "no news" period and will continue praying.  Blessings,  Rodger

Thanks for the update! Its so encouraging to hear that life does return to "normal" again. We are on our 1st month of maintenance-can't wait till we are at the 3.5yr mark! You are so close, 6months seems so do-able! Praying every month goes smoothly for you and you can soon kiss chemo/cancer goodbye!

Somehow you had found me earlier (Tyler Gingerich) and left a comment on our site. I'm FINALLY catching up with everything. I read through your journey...wow! Such a hard time he had! I'm sure every minute of your Disney trip was amazing. You def deserved that awesome time with your family. So glad to hear he's doing well! Thanks for the encouragement earlier...it means a lot especially coming from someone who's been through it!

This all began because I know your Wyoming Grandma!  That means I didn't know you when you were 1 or 2.  This picture REALLY shows you two looking like twins.  That is something to praise God for.  I am so thankful to God for the wonderful time you and your family had at Disney World.  I will keep on praying that  next year will mark the end of your trial by cancer and God will be glorified for the way He has held His child in his hand the whole time.  As one of my cousins (4yr old) said, "And God's hand doesn't get sweaty either. :) " Have a wonderful summer and know that you are in my prayer journal.

Glad to hear David is doing well and that you had a wonderful time on your Make a Wish trip! It is an amazing experience! My church is taking 100 youth and 20 adults down in July to volunteer for a week and I get to go! I am so excited to go and give back! It will be an amazing experience! We are always thinking and praying for you all! Take care! Love, Avery, Heidi, Aaron, and Austin

David you are a very lucky boy who has a very smart grandma and mommy so that you were able to find out pretty quickly what was wrong so that the doctors could do what you need to get and stay well. You are very brave and knowing your family, so very loved. Best Wishes. Kelly Signorotti

Very inspirational post!  I stopped receiving notifications from CaringBridge for some reason.  I popped on here to check how you guys are doing.  I'm glad things are going well and if my calculations are correct you are in Disney right now or very soon???  We still miss you very much.  I tried emailing you, but your email address is not in my account for some reason.  We still miss you guys very much and think of you when we go to the clinic.  It's weird being one of the veterans now like you mentioned in your post.  And I see those parents who were us two years ago.  And I can't believe sometimes that I can feel so contented in life. Love,Nicole and Gavin

Thank you for sharing your heart - your journey - what God is teaching you.  Your whole family is an encouragement to the rest of us! I rejoice with you in David's healing - pray for continued health - and pray that you each continue trusting God to direct your path. Hugs!
