On August 10, 2006 at 10:05 am life for the Eubank family changed dramatically. The pillar of strength that could fix the broken toy, ice maker (or anything else), mentor for scout troop 550, and best fishing buddy a son could have was burned over 60% of his body.

I wish to thank everyone that has visited this site. Your messages about David have helped Kem and the boys get thru this tragic time. I’m going to keep checking and updating with their recovery, for a lack of better term until no one is visiting any more. So please keep writing your memories of David in the guestbook; you bring smiles to the boy’s faces.

We went to the lake for the weekend; thanks to our cousins Lance and Erin and their families we got the boat out of the garage and back in with out any damage to it or us. Kem had a little melt down, when she got the boat stuck half in the driveway and half in the street and again when I couldn’t get the water on in the trailer. We heard that laugh of his a few times as I got the boat out of the drive way, and Billy turned the hose on going to the trailer.

It was tough going with out Big Daddy for the first time, but thanks to the family with us and seeing family and friends from scouts at the Warsaw Wal-Mart on the way down, we concurred the lake.

Jesse did a great job driving the boat with Dad on his shoulder instead of the seat beside him, Big Daddy would be proud.

Kem and the boys need to hear your memories of David. I will make a scrapbook for them using your stories. Thank you for all the loving support you have shared.
