Dave’s Story

Hello Family and Friends,

We've created this page to keep you updated and for specific prayer requests about our beloved, Dave. We appreciate your love, prayers and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." We believe that the Lord is turning hearts towards him during this time. Please don't stop praying!

Latest Journal Update

we will not be shaken.

Friends and Family,

I feel the need tonight to just pause and take a moment. I want to be more present this year. I want to have a heart full of gratitude, even when life doesn't go my way.

So tonight I find myself full of trust and thankfulness-- believing in what God is doing and how He is moving.

Our God is stronger, He can do all things.

It has almost been 2 years since Dave's accident. On Monday he started work for the very first time in 2 years!! This is an incredible victory. I have so much to say about who my husband has become and is still becoming. I stand in awe watching him persevere over the past 2 years.

I knew this day would come. Did I know the time frame or what job it would be? No. At times I was fearful and filled with doubt. The Lord came and made a way, He always does.

There is hope-- Don't give up.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support! Please continue to pray as Dave's journey continues. He is set for eye surgery in the next month or so and we are asking for no more seizures in 2015 or ever! We love you.

Thank you again for your beautiful testimony. I'm praising God for strong and courageous young people like the two of you - the next generation to carry the Lord's banner of hope, joy, peace and salvation - NO MATTER WHAT. When life is not easy our faith is often strengthened and He draws us even closer - so thankful that is your story.

Our God is good indeed! Thank-you so much for posting this encouraging news. Dave is a true success story for brain injury. It's a goal for so many to return to work. Many don't succeed. God has given him this rich blessing. Thank-you for sharing such encouraging news! It takes team work. Thank-you! Such grand news to share with the world! May God continue to bless you richly.

Praising God for your faithfulness, you and Dave are "living" Psalm 62:5-7. "…5My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. 6He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken. 7On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.…" Sonja and I "believe" with you. Lots of revisiting this scripture and others with Pastor Howard and Linda with their similar or parallel journey. Love, Tom and Sonja
