Davanna was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. Specifically, it’s invasive ductal carcinoma.

She has opted for treatment at Houston Methodist Cancer Center. Her oncologist is Dr. Jenny Chang, head of the cancer center. She’s also a world renowned breast cancer expert.

CANCER FREE - those are the words I heard from all of my drs (radiologist, surgeon and oncologist.).  It's been a long year and I'm BLESSED to reach this point.  I'll have to take oral chemo for the next 5 years and have follow up appointments every six months.  

I was finally given permission to go back to water aerobics and I’m working on getting my strength back.  It’s been several weeks since I had a dizzy spell so I drove to class last night (by myself.)   Felt like a teenager stealing the car.  😉
