Mi historia

Dan Springer lost his battle with cancer on September 28, 2011. If you would like to contribute to a Technical Theatre Scholarship Fund in Dan's honor, please mail donations to Melissa Alpers-Springer, 1645 N Golf Blvd, Columbia, MO 65202 or click here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=HAG4W3NARZYNC

Dan Springer touched many lives as an educator at the University of Missouri and as an artist in the Columbia art scene. In 2009, doctors diagnosed Dan with stage four esophageal cancer. He was given very little hope that he would make it more than a year, but two and a half years later he far exceeded anyone’s expectations.

He sought every treatment available, but Dan lost his battle with cancer on September 28, 2011. If you’d like to learn more about Dan’s journey, you can read the entries on this website.

Because Dan touched the lives of so many theater students, his family would like to establish a Technical Theater Scholarship Fund. If you would to contribute to this fund, please click on the following PayPal link:
